Vineyard

From our famous Saint-Jean-de-Muzols terroir called Sainte Epine composed by altered granit at the top of the hill (380 m alt.), this vines, planted in 1985, go deep in the rock in order to get minerals needed. The most beautiful grapes are selected to product this high quality wine and the full south-exposure insure a full ripeness of the fruit. As our whole vineyard this vines are worked with eco-friendly methods in order to respect biodiversity and our beautiful landscapes.

Wine-Making

Handly harvest, grapes are then placed in oak tronconic vats of 60 hectoliters for a fermentation of 21 days and lie down in barrels of 2/3 years for 12 months.

Tasting notes

Deep garnet colour. Racy nosed on wild blackberries, peppery and licorice notes. On the palate, full-bodied wine dominated by blackcherries and Sichuan pepper. Serve it at 18°C.
