Our daily work is guided by the belief that nature gives back to us. It is for this reason that we will always favour methods that respect the plants, fauna and flora of our vineyards.
As part of the history of Northern rhone wines, we are proud to this land where we grew up and to highlight this wonderful landscape through our wines.

We produce wines that reflect our values, wines whose tasting will give rise to unforgettable moments of sharing, exchanges, conviviality.

The Michelas St Jemms estate is born. Our parents, Robert and Yvette, settle as farmers with few plots of vines.

It is a bit by chance or luck that allows our father to acquire 0.30 ha of vines on the famous hill of the Hermitage appellation.

Sylvie, Florence, Corine and Sébastien succeeded to their parents. Domaine Michelas Saint Jemms was born. Together we decide to grow the estate, to evolve on our practices, to listen to our terroirs in order to produce wines in accordance with our values.

Our «Terres d’Arce» range come to light with the help of our friend Jean-Etienne Guibert – the “oenologist of Syrah”. From the selection of our best terroirs are born 4 grand crus; 4 Terres d’Arces: Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph and Cornas.

The estate obtains High Environmental Value (HVE) certification. This evaluation allows winegrowers to benefit from recognition of the work on the estate in favor of the environment and allows consumers to have a guarantee of eco-responsible production.

Opening of our new tasting area. Elegant lines and wall of bottles giving glimpse of our private family cellar, which jealously preserves our oldest vintages.

Planting trees and shrubs on old terraces to bring biodiversity within the estate. Hives are also present in this plot and offer us quality honey.
